The new Adobe virtual environment

Adobe has realized that having its own virtual environment is good and they have decided to release Adobe Integrated Runtime, known as Adobe Air.

Adobe® AIR™ lets developers use their existing web development skills in HTML, AJAX, Flash and Flex to build and deploy rich Internet applications to the desktop.

By this way, we will be able to run Flash, Flex, HTML, AJAX, CSS or PDF based applications on our desktop and take advantage of their pros without having to run the web application.

Nowadays we can enjoy some good applications based on Adobe AIR and it is expected to be one of the must haves in our computers in a near future.
